Voting Location Search

Facebook App

• Lead design and strategy to build a voting location search experience on Facebook that allowed people to search early, election day, and drop-off ballot voting location info.
• Shipped product that was used by 2.9 million people by the October deadline, contributing to Facebook’s overall Voter Information Effort mission.

Feeds Tab

Facebook App

• Drove initial redesign of the Most Recent Feed ranking experience on Facebook, delivering final product direction to the Feed team who executed on the strategy.
• Resulted in launching Feeds Tab, achieving goal of increasing “Most Recent” usage (650% inc.) without Feed engagement regressions.

Social Issues, Elections and Politics Ads

Facebook App

• Designed social issue, politics, and elections ad approvals flow into small business advertising products.
• Achieved goal of shipping product experience within 6 months to meet FTC deadline, resulted in a 30% increase in Political Ad ID approvals and a 25% decrease in rejected ads.

Reduce Control

Facebook App

• Drove the final design and execution of the Reduce control which gives people transparency into content Facebook demotes and the ability to control the demotion strength.
• The product is the first content ranking control of its kind and was covered by the press.
